Cherish the Weekends! And we finally did it, we set up the Christmas Tree!! (Homeemas!)
This would be the first time in 9 years that we have set up this old Fake Tree. It’s only 5 feet tall, so it’s perfect for Baby Brooklyn to help set it up and decorate it!
And boy was she right into helping! She really got a kick out of setting up her very first Christmas Tree!
Even when we set up all the branches and decorations, she was still looking for more!
And here’s our final product!! We had to set the tree up on Leonidas’s scratching post stand because if we left it ont he ground, Leo would destroy each and every ornament. Our tree this year consisted of lights, gold beads, nuctracker ornaments, snow globes, and some special appearance ornaments.
This is Brooklyn’s very first Hallmark ornament, a Tinkerbell sitting on a red jingle bell.
This is My 2011 special Hallmark ornament, the talking Yoda.
Then there’s the 1993 special edition Coca cola Santa ornament.
And the special limited edition 1992 black Santa ornament.
And you can’t forget the Angel at the top! Happy Christmas everyone wherever you are!
The evening was a great one as we got to spend a night out with the boys, shooting the shit, catching up, cracking jokes, meanwhile some great live music played and even better food and BEvERages were served.
And Happy 30th birthday to Mark, who was celebrating with Red Velvet cake and his crew even printed up tee shirts for him!!
Song of the Day: Silver Bells – Anne Murray
This version kills me. I heard it on the radio and I actually had to turn it off. Probably because Anne Murray was one of Mom’s favorites. I can just hear her singing along to it. This might actually be the toughest Chrismas ever. Ever.
